Michelle is a partner in Tannenbaum Helpern’s Real Estate and Construction Law practice with a focus on leasing, acquisition and sales and financing transactions.

She frequently represents:

  • landlords and tenants in office, retail, shopping center, industrial and ground lease transactions
  • sellers and purchasers of office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family properties, industrial properties and vacant land for development purposes. In real estate acquisitions and divestitures, Michelle negotiates contracts, advises clients throughout the diligence process and deal closings
  • institutional and private lenders and borrowers in mortgage and construction financings
  • Represented a developer of shopping center in acquiring property, securing acquisition and construction financing and leasing of space within center.
  • Represented a financial institution in the expansion of its retail bank branches throughout New York City.
  • Represented a family company in acquisitions of multi-family properties.
